The Conservatives control Southend

When will Southend wake up and realise that, though we can blame Labour for many things, Southend is run by Tories?

Conservatives have held the parliamentary seats since time-immemorial. We’ve had a Tory controlled council since 2000. If you have grievences with how Southend is run, don’t make the same mistake again!

You don’t even have to vote for the main three. Vote fringe or independent. In the General Election, vote for someone who is Southend born-and-bred, not some half-wit who, having lost elections fighting other seats, gets shuffled into Southend by the Conservatives. You could put a monkey in a blue rosette and it could win Southend’s seats.

The same goes for the council seats. If you don’t like Southend’s current governance, change it! We’ve got a General Election and local council elections this year. Get out, vote, and use it wisely.
